- Not Voting—0 In The Chair: Moss The Senate agreed to the title of the bill. Senator Cherry asked and was granted unanimous consent to make a statement and moved that the statement be printed in the Journal. The motion prevailed. Senator Cherry’s statement is as follows: I just wanted to very quickly note for the record that these bills have been sitting on Third Reading since March 25. It’s inaccurate to say that these bills are being rushed. If you weren’t prepared for it, that’s more a reflection of the process of trying to prepare as opposed to any negative reflection on the process of this chamber. The following bill was read a third time: Senate Bill No. 759, entitled A bill to amend 1976 PA 331, entitled “Michigan consumer protection act,” by amending section 3 (MCL 445.903), as amended by 2022 PA 152.
