The House agreed to the title of the bill. Rep. Posthumus moved that the bill be given immediate effect. The motion prevailed, 2/3 of the members serving voting therefor. House Bill No. 5069, entitled A bill to amend 2000 PA 92, entitled “Food law,” (MCL 289.1101 to 289.8111) by adding section 7132. The bill was read a third time. The question being on the passage of the bill, Rep. Wendzel moved to amend the bill as follows: 1. Amend page 1, line 4, by striking out all of subdivision (b) and relettering the remaining subdivisions. The motion was seconded and the amendment was adopted, a majority of the members serving voting therefor.
