House Bill No. 4927, entitled A bill to designate the month of April of each year as Chaldean and Assyrian Heritage Month. (The bill was read a third time and not passed, a majority of the members serving not voting therefor, on March 19, see House Journal No. 26, p. 240.) Rep. Aiyash moved that Rule 63 be suspended. The motion prevailed, 3/5 of the members present voting therefor. Rep. Aiyash moved to reconsider the vote by which the House did not pass the bill.
