Not Voting—0 In The Chair: President Senator Singh moved that the bill be given immediate effect. The motion prevailed, 2/3 of the members serving voting therefor. Pursuant to Joint Rule 20, the full title of the act shall be inserted to read as follows: “An act to provide for the organization and regulation of corporations; to prescribe their duties, rights, powers, immunities and liabilities; to provide for the authorization of foreign corporations within this state; to prescribe the functions of the administrator of this act; to prescribe penalties for violations of this act; and to repeal certain acts and parts of acts,” The Senate agreed to the full title. The following bill was read a third time: House Bill No. 5000, entitled A bill to amend 1935 PA 120, entitled “An act to prescribe a method for the fingerprinting of residents of the state; to provide for the recording and filing of the fingerprints by the central records division of the department of state police; and to impose a fee,” by amending section 3 (MCL 28.273), as amended by 2019 PA 78.
