Context text: Camilleri Hertel McMorrow Singh Cavanagh Irwin Moss Wojno Excused—0 Not Voting—0 In The Chair: Moss Senator Lauwers offered the following amendment: 1. Amend page 59, following line 5, by inserting: “ (3) If statewide average customer electric rate increases exceed 20% after the effective date of the amendatory act that added this subsection, the commission shall, by order, permanently suspend the application of the amendatory act that added this subsection. ”. The question being on the adoption of the amendment, Senator Lauwers requested the yeas and nays. The yeas and nays were ordered, 1/5 of the members present voting therefor.
