- tackle a public health issue. My amendment would simply require those people who receive a benefit to certify that “the source the taxpayer utilized to produce or blend the sustainable aviation fuel for which the credit is sought… does not manufacture or sell high-fructose corn syrup.” High-fructose corn syrup is another thing corn can be used for and its frankly a blight on the health of our communities. I would love to see every drop of it turned into aviation fuel, so I would urge a “yes” vote on my amendment. The following bill was read a third time: Senate Bill No. 666, entitled A bill to amend 1972 PA 284, entitled “Business corporation act,” by amending section 911 (MCL 450.1911), as amended by 2012 PA 569, and by adding section 961.
