management in the state of Michigan. This particular bill is important for the city of Romulus as we take on this hazardous injection well in the city that has never been wanted by my residents. It has been polluting the land and the water of our region for over 30 years. This is a positive step forward as we are holding this company accountable for polluting our Great Lakes and making sure that the city residents in Romulus have some recourse as we are trying our best to move forward in the entire region when it comes to hazardous waste management. I urge a “yes” vote. The following bill was read a third time: Senate Bill No. 170, entitled A bill to repeal 2011 PA 98, entitled “Fair and open competition in governmental construction act,” (MCL 408.871 to 408.883).
