Senator Lauwers moved that the Senate proceed to consideration of the following resolution: Senate Resolution No. 59 The motion prevailed. Senate Resolution No. 59 A resolution to urge the forgiveness of all fines and fees imposed on and the end to all prosecutions brought against businesses for violating COVID-19 orders or rules. (This resolution was reported by the Committee on Economic and Small Business Development on Thursday, June 3. See Senate Journal No. 52, p. 911.) The question being on the adoption of the resolution, Senator Lauwers requested the yeas and nays. The yeas and nays were ordered, 1/5 of the members present voting therefor.
