- Senator Lauwers moved that the Senate proceed to consideration of the following bill: Senate Bill No. 304 The motion prevailed. Senate Bill No. 304, entitled A bill to amend 1954 PA 116, entitled “Michigan election law,” by amending sections 523a, 813, and 829 (MCL 168.523a, 168.813, and 168.829), as amended by 2018 PA 603. (This bill was returned from the House on Thursday, June 24 with a House substitute (H-1), immediate effect and title amendment, and was laid over under the rules. See Senate Journal No. 59, p. 1047.) The question being on concurring in the substitute made to the bill by the House, Senator VanderWall offered the following substitute to the House substitute: Substitute (S-3).
