- Representative Wendzel moved to adopt the meeting minutes from February 20, 2019. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid the presentation from the Michigan Wheat Program before the committee. Executive Director Jody Pollock Newsom and President David Milligan, representing the Michigan Wheat Program, joined by Art Loeffler, representing the Star of the West Milling Company, provided a presentation regarding the Michigan Wheat Program. Questions and discussion followed. The Chair laid the presentation from the Michigan Corn Growers before the committee. Executive Director Jim Zook, representing the Michigan Corn Growers Association and the Corn Marketing Program of Michigan, joined by Eric Voisinet, a Michigan corn grower and member of the Michigan Corn Growers Association Board of Directors, provided a presentation regarding the corn industry in the state of Michigan. Questions and discussion followed. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair adjourned the meeting at 11:33 AM.
