- Representative Tyrone Carter moved to excuse Representative Schroeder from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. Chairman Bellino laid before the committee a presentation by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. Liesl Clark, Director of the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, gave a presentation to the committee. Questions and discussion followed. Chairman Bellino laid before the committee a presentation by the Association of Businesses Advocating Tariff Equity (ABATE). Rod Williamson, representing the Association of Businesses Advocating Tariff Equity (ABATE), gave a presentation to the committee. Jeff Anthofer, representing Gerdau Specialty Steel, joined Rod Williamson to address the committee. Questions and discussion followed. There being no further business before the committee, Rep.
