- Representative Marino moved to adopt the meeting minutes from May 1, 2019. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4408 before the committee: HB 4408 (Rep. Miller) A bill to amend 2000 PA 321, entitled “Recreational authorities act,” by amending section 27 (MCL 123.1157). Representative Miller and Lindsey Oswald, the St. Joseph County Clerk, testified in support of HB 4408. Questions and discussion followed. The following people submitted a card with a neutral position on HB 4408, but did not wish to speak: Paul Connors, representing the Michigan Department of Treasury.
