- Representative Sheppard moved to adopt the meeting minutes from June 18, 2019. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4628 before the committee: HB 4628 (Rep. Shannon) A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled "Michigan vehicle code," by amending section 208 (MCL 257.208), as amended by 2006 PA 565. Representative Shannon gave an overview of his bill and proposed amendment. The following person submitted a card in support of HB 4628, but did not wish to speak: Jenita Moore, representing the Michigan Secretary of State. Representative Shannon offered the following amendment to HB 4628: 1. Amend page 3, line 21, after "Beginning" by striking out "February 16," and inserting "July 16,".
