- Representative Crawford moved to adopt the meeting minutes from October 8, 2019. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4989 before the committee: HB 4989 (Rep. Bellino) A bill to amend 1976 PA 451, entitled "The revised school code," by amending section 705 (MCL 380.705), as amended by 2018 PA 23. Representative Bellino testified in support of HB 4989. Questions and discussion followed. Kathy Merry, representing Wayne County Regional Educational Service Agency, testified in support of HB 4989.
