The Chair laid HR 154 before the committee: HR 154 (Rep. Johnson) A resolution to encourage the National Park Service to establish a moose tag lottery hunt to assist in controlling the moose population on Isle Royale. Representative Johnson testified in support of HR 154. Questions and discussion followed. Amy Trotter, representing Michigan United Conservation Clubs, testified in support of HR 154. The following people submitted a card in opposition to HR 154, but did not wish to speak: Tim Minotas, representing the Michigan Sierra Club.
