At 12:03 AM, the Chair called the committee back to order. The Chair laid HB 5126 before the committee: HB 5126 (Rep. Johnson) A bill to amend 1956 PA 40, entitled "The drain code of 1956," by amending sections 135 and 154 (MCL 280.135 and 280.154), section 135 as amended by 2017 PA 62 and section 154 as amended by 2018 PA 646. The following person submitted a card in support of HB 5126, but did not wish to speak: Nathan Kark, representing the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
