Iden, Lilly, Leutheuser, Griffin, Hauck, Kahle, Meerman, Warren, Byrd, Hertel, Bolden. Nays: None. Pass: None. Representative Lilly offered the following amendments to SB 696: 1. Amend page 3, line 21, after “The” by deleting the remainder of line 21 through line 25, up to and including “members.” and inserting “director shall receive and approve or deny requests for waivers to allow an individual to act as the manager of 2 funeral establishments under this subsection.”. 2. Amend page 4, line 6, after “The” by deleting “panel” and inserting “director”. 3. Amend page 4, line 16, after “(c)” by deleting the remainder of line 16 through page 5, line 3 and inserting “if the waiver is denied, the director shall send a written notice of the denial and the reasons for denial to the individual who requested the waiver. The individual may appeal the denial to the board in the manner provided for in section 515.".
