Representative Iden moved to adopt the amendment to SB 1094(H-2). The motion prevailed 11-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Iden, Lilly, Leutheuser, Griffin, Hauck, Kahle, Meerman, Warren, Byrd, Hertel, Bolden. Nays: None. Pass: None. Representative Lilly offered the following amendments to SB 1094(H-2): 1. Amend page 7, line 19, after "(c)" by striking out "Beginning" and inserting "Except as otherwise provided in subsection (2), beginning". 2. Amend page 7, following line 27, by inserting: "(2) Through December 31, 2020, a nursing home may admit or retain for care an individual who has tested positive for coronavirus if any of the following apply: (a) The department of health and human services has not implemented a process for the creation of care and recovery centers within nursing homes under section 5145(1)(d). (b) The nursing home has applied for the approval of a designated area within the nursing home under section 5145(1)(e) and the department of health and human services has not approved the application." and renumbering the remaining subsection. Representative Lilly spoke to his amendments.
