The Chair laid HR 85 before the committee: HR 85 (Rep. Bellino) A resolution to declare April 2021 as Natural Gas and Electric Service Workers Appreciation Month in the state of Michigan. James Shaw, representing the IBEW Michigan State Conference, and James Harrison, representing the Utility Workers Union of America, testified together in support of HR 85. Questions and discussion followed. The following people submitted a card in support of HR 85, but did not wish to speak: Dan Dundas, representing the Michigan Electric and Gas Association.
