- Representative Rendon moved to adopt substitute (H-1) to HB 4644. The motion prevailed 7-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Wakeman, Wozniak, Rendon, Tisdel, Pohutsky, Brenda Carter, Aiyash. Nays: None. Pass: None. Dr. Lisa C. Ludwig MD, a Sparrow Family Medicine Physician, testified in support of HB 4644 (H-1). Dr. Matthew Viel, MD, a Family Medicine Specialist from Holland, Michigan, testified in support of HB 4644 (H-1). Dan Jarvis, representing the Michigan Family Forum, testified in support of HB 4644 (H-1). Henry Wolf, Legislative Assistant for the bill sponsor, was available for questions from committee members on House Bill 4644 (H-1). Aaron Keel, Director of Legislative Affairs for the Michigan Department of Treasury, submitted a card in opposition to HB 4644 and the (H-1) substitute, but did not wish to speak.
