- Representative Sneller moved to report out HB 4638 with recommendation. The motion prevailed 10-2-1: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. O'Malley, Eisen, Howell, Griffin, Roth, Sneller, Clemente, Shannon, Liberati, Puri. Nays: Reps. LaFave, Carra. Pass: Rep. Berman. The following people submitted a card in support of HB 4638, but did not wish to speak: Matt Levin, representing the Michigan Department of State. The Chair laid the presentation on Road Worker Safety before the committee. Tony Kratofil, representing the Michigan Department of Transportation, Mike Malloure, representing C. A. Hull Company, and John Osika, representing OE 324, all provided a presentation on Work Zone Safety. Questions and discussion followed.
