- Representative Outman moved to adopt the meeting minutes from May 13, 2021. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. Chair Johnson made remarks to the committee. The Chair laid the following before the committee: Testimony regarding Secretary of State appointment issues stemming from the decision to switch to an appointment-only system Senator Johnson testified before the committee. Questions and discussion followed. Senator Theis testified before the committee. Senator McBroom and Judi Schwalbach testified before the committee. David Rhoa, owner of Marana Group, testified before the committee.
