Evidence text: Representative Farrington moved to adopt the meeting minutes from May 13, 2021. There being no objections, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid before the committee presentations on technical career training. Robert Smith, Principal and Director for Van Buren Tech; Mike Mulligan, Career and Technical Education Director for Dickinson-Iron Counties; and Brian Sarvello, Chair of Upper Peninsula Manufacturing Talent Consortium, did a joint PowerPoint presentation on technical career training within the State of Michigan. Questions and discussion followed. The PowerPoint presentations are attached. There being no further business before the committee; Representative Markkanen moved that the committee adjourn.
