- Representative Rendon moved to adopt the meeting minutes from June 16, 2021. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid the presentation on the Great Lakes Compact and the Michigan Water Use Program before the committee. Water Use Assessment Supervisor Jim Milne, and Water Resources Division Director Teresa Seidel, both representing the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy, joined by Abigail Eaton, representing the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, all provided a presentation on the Michigan Water Use Program and the Water Withdrawal Assessment Process. Questions and discussion followed.
