- Representative Eisen moved to adopt the meeting minutes from June 24, 2021. There being no objections, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. Representative Jeff Yaroch, the bill sponsor, explained HB 5115. Questions followed. Kathy Wall, representing Bureau of Emergency Management Services in the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), testified in support of HB 5115. Angela Madden, Executive Director of the Michigan Association of Ambulance Services (MAAS), testified in support of HB 5115. Mark Docherty, President of the Michigan Professional Fire Fighters Union, testified in opposition to HB 5115. Mark Cleveland, Fire Chief of Egelston Township Fire Department, representing the Michigan Association of Fire Chiefs, testified in opposition to HB 5115.
