The Chair laid HB 4983 and HB 4984 before the committee: HB 4983 (Rep. Kahle) A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled "Michigan vehicle code," by amending sections 710d and 710e (MCL 257.710d and 257.710e), section 710d as amended by 2009 PA 57 and section 710e as amended by 2016 PA 460. HB 4984 (Rep. Clemente) A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled "Michigan vehicle code," by amending section 907 (MCL 257.907), as amended by 2020 PA 382. Representative Kahle and Representative Clemente, joined by Dr. John Gold, representing the Michigan Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, all testified in support of HB 4983 and HB 4984. Questions and discussion followed. Marie Snodgrass, representing C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, testified in support of HB 4983 and HB 4984. Questions and discussion followed.
