The following people submitted a card in support of HB 4973, but did not wish to speak: Deena Bosworth, representing the Michigan Association of Counties. The Chair laid HB 5286 before the committee: HB 5286 (Rep. Huizenga) A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled "Michigan vehicle code," by amending section 627 (MCL 257.627), as amended by 2019 PA 31. Representative Huizenga, joined by Todd Melin, representing Ver-Mac, both testified in support of HB 5286. Questions and discussion followed.
