- Representative O'Malley moved to report out HB 5555 with recommendation, as substitute (H-2). The motion prevailed 8-0-1: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Steven Johnson, Outman, Hoitenga, Reilly, Yaroch, O'Malley, LaGrand, Young. Nays: None. Pass: Rep. Brixie. The following person submitted a card in support of HB 5555, but did not wish to speak: Dave Worthams, representing the Michigan Manufacturers Association. The Chair laid before the committee Testimony from Michigan businesses regarding their experiences with MIOSHA. Don Badaczewski and Deborah Sellis, representing Argent International, testified in regard to Michigan businesses experiences with MIOSHA. Questions and discussion followed.
