Representative Mueller moved to adopt the meeting minutes from June 14, 2022. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 6124 before the committee: HB 6124 (Rep. Bollin) A bill to amend 1954 PA 116, entitled "Michigan election law," by amending sections 31, 683, and 730 (MCL 168.31, 168.683, and 168.730), section 31 as amended by 2012 PA 271, section 683 as amended by 2018 PA 120, and section 730 as amended by 1995 PA 261, and by adding section 730a. The following people submitted a card in support of HB 6124, but did not wish to speak: Hallie Fox, representing the Michigan League of Conservation Voters. At 9:12 AM, the Chair laid the committee at ease. At 9:13 AM, the Chair called the committee back to order.
