- Representative Markkanen moved to adopt Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Room 327 of the House Office Building as the standing day, time, and location for meetings of the House Committee on Elections. The motion prevailed 8-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Tsernoglou, Wegela, Hope, Koleszar, Byrnes, Churches, Markkanen, Smit. Nays: None. Pass: None. The Chair stated that the Committee on Elections will follow the committee rules, as prescribed in Chapter IV of the House Rules. Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, and Attorney General Dana Nessel, gave a presentation regarding the Implementation of Proposal 22-2. Questions and discussion followed. Minority Vice Chair Markkanen made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 11:19 AM. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent.
