Representative Rheingans moved to adopt the meeting minutes from April 12, 2023. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid a presentation from the Michigan Department of Treasury- Office of Post- Secondary Financial Planning before the committee. Robin Loft, the Post-Secondary Financial Planning Bureau Director, Diane Brewer, the Michigan Education Trust Executive Director, Diann Cosme, the Student Scholarship Grants and Outreach Executive Director, and R. Scott de Varona, the Student Loan Repayment Division Executive Director gave an overview presentation of their department. Questions and discussion followed.
