- Representative Mentzer moved to report out SB 169 with recommendation. The motion prevailed 7-3-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Haadsma, Mentzer, Koleszar, O'Neal, Andrews, Churches, Wegela. Nays: Reps. Wozniak, Mueller, Kunse. Pass: None. The Chair laid HB 4729 before the committee: HB 4729 (Rep. Snyder) A bill to amend 1969 PA 317, entitled "Worker's disability compensation act of 1969," by amending section 405 (MCL 418.405), as amended by 2021 PA 129. Representative Snyder, and David Glotzbach, representing the Michigan Association of Fire Chiefs, testified in support of HB 4729. Dave Hodgkins, representing the Michigan Municipal League, testified in opposition to HB 4729. Questions and discussion followed.
