Witwer) A bill to require certain public officers to file annual financial disclosure reports; to create a financial disclosure form; to prescribe penalties and civil sanctions; and to provide for the powers and duties of certain state and local governmental officers and entities. HB 5273 (Rep. Tyrone Carter) A bill to require certain candidates for state elective office to file financial disclosure reports; to create a financial disclosure form; to prescribe penalties and civil sanctions; and to provide for the powers and duties of certain state and local governmental officers and entities. HB 5274 (Rep. Snyder) A bill to amend 1976 PA 388, entitled "Michigan campaign finance act," by amending section 44 (MCL 169.244), as amended by 2017 PA 119. HB 5275 (Rep. Glanville) A bill to amend 1976 PA 388, entitled "Michigan campaign finance act," (MCL 169.201 to 169.282) by adding section 44a. Representative Tyrone Carter testified in support of HBs 5272-5275. Questions and discussion followed.
