- Representative Haadsma moved to adopt the meeting minutes from October 26, 2023. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid SB 133 before the committee: SB 133 (Sen. McCann) A bill to provide for the review and prevention of deaths from drug overdose in this state; to allow for the creation of overdose fatality review teams; to provide for the powers and duties of the overdose fatality review teams; to regulate certain entities; to prescribe powers and duties of certain state and local governmental officers and entities; and to prescribe remedies for a violation of this act. Senator McCann testified in support of SB 133. Questions and discussion followed.
