Representative Churches moved to adopt the meeting minutes from January 25, 2024. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid the presentation from the Michigan Department of Civil Rights before the Committee. Gloria Lara, Chair of the Michigan Civil Rights Commission, John Johnson, Kimberly Woolridge, and Marcelina Trevino, representing the Michigan Department of Civil Rights, provided a presentation on the Office of the Auditor General Report on Michigan Department of Civil Rights 151-0200-22, August 2023. Questions and discussion followed. At 11:43 AM, the Chair laid the committee at ease. At 11:44 AM, Majority Vice Chair Hope called the committee back to order.
