Representative Kuhn offered the following amendment to HB 5556: 1. Amend page 152, following line 19, by inserting: "(2) When seeking federal authority to implement a transitional Medicaid benefit for incarcerated individuals, the department must make all efforts to ensure the department receives federal approval to make the transitional Medicaid benefit for incarcerated individuals available to county jails by not later than the second year of the waiver demonstration." and renumbering remaining subsections accordingly.
