- Representative Hoadley moved to adopt the meeting minutes from May 16, 2024. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid presentations on Substance Use and Abuse in Michigan before the committee. Sheriff Troy Goodnough, representing the Michigan Sheriffs' Association, gave a presentation on Substance Use and Abuse in Michigan. Questions and discussion followed. Dr. Brian Spitsburgen, representing the Michigan School of Psychology, gave a presentation on Substance Use and Abuse in Michigan. Questions and discussion followed. Nicole Adelman, representing the Community Mental Health Partnership of Southeast Michigan, and Joel Smith, representing Southwest Michigan Behavioral Health, gave a presentation on Substance Use and Abuse in Michigan.
