- Representative O'Neal moved to adopt the meeting minutes from June 13, 2024. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid SB 571 before the committee: SB 571 (Sen. Cherry) A bill to amend 2023 PA 10, entitled "An act to require prevailing wages and fringe benefits on state projects; to establish the requirements and responsibilities of contracting agents and bidders; to make appropriations for the implementation of this act; and to prescribe penalties," by amending the title and sections 1, 2, 8, and 22 (MCL 408.1101, 408.1102, 408.1108, and 408.1122) and by adding sections 2a and 25a. A substitute (H-1) was adopted for SB 571 at the June 13th, 2024 meeting. The following people submitted a card in support of SB 571, but did not wish to speak: Jim Murray, representing Summit Ridge Energy. Joe Henri, representing Dimension Energy.
