Paiz) A bill to create standards and processes for the selection of materials for inclusion in or withdrawal from the collections of certain public libraries; to provide for the powers and duties of certain state and local governmental officers and entities; and to provide remedies. HB 6035 (Rep. Glanville) A bill to create standards and processes for the selection of materials for inclusion in or withdrawal from a district library's collection; to provide for the powers and duties of certain state and local governmental officers and entities; and to provide remedies. Representative Glanville and Representative Paiz discussed the substitutes H-3 and H-2 to HBs 6034 and 6035. Katherine Bussard, representing herself, testified in opposition of HB 6035. Questions and discussion followed.
