- Representative Rogers moved to withdraw the amendment to HB 4578. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. Representative Rogers offered the following amendments to HB 4578: 1. Amend page 3, line 10, after "assistance" by striking out "543,312,000" and inserting "643,312,000". and adjusting the subtotals, totals, and section 201 accordingly. 2. Amend page 19, following line 19, by inserting: "(5) From the funds appropriated in part 1 for child development and care public assistance, the provider reimbursement rates for child care centers, group home providers, registered family homes, and license exempt providers are increased by 18% from the provider reimbursement rates established in the child development and care handbook for fiscal year 2024-2025, rounded to the nearest $0.05. (6) Provider reimbursement rate increases funded under this section are effective the first full biweekly pay period of the fiscal year.".
