Tate, O'Neal, Rogers, Steckloff, Glanville, Edwards, Farhat, Martus, McKinney, Snyder and Longjohn. Nays: Reps. Bollin, Maddock, Phil Green, Jenkins-Arno, Kelly, Markkanen, Mueller, Slagh, VanWoerkom, Beson, Borton, Roth, Cavitt, Kuhn, Steele and Robinson. Pass: None. Representative Farhat offered the following amendments to HB 5619: 1. Amend page 163, following line 13, by inserting: (4) ONE-TIME APPROPRIATIONS Interlochen Center for the Arts investigation $ 100,000 GROSS APPROPRIATION $ 100,000 Appropriated from: State general fund/general purpose $ 100,000 and adjusting the subtotals, totals, and section 201 accordingly. 2. Amend page 218, following line 24, by inserting: “ONE-TIME APPROPRIATIONS Sec. 330. (1) From funds appropriated in part 1 for Interlochen Center for the Arts investigation, the department of attorney general shall investigate any ties between the Interlochen Center for the Arts and Jeffrey Epstein and any abuses that may have occurred at the Interlochen Center for the Arts related to ties with Jeffrey Epstein. The department of attorney general shall also investigate whether any donors to the center or current or former elected officials were involved with or have knowledge of any potential abuses. (2) Not later than September 30, the department of attorney general shall submit a report to the standard report recipients on findings of the investigation and publicly publish the report. The report may redact the names of any victims but may not redact the names of any donors or current or former elected officials.”.
