The Chair requested attendance to be called: Present: Reps. Bollin, Maddock, Phil Green, Jenkins-Arno, Kelly, Markkanen, Mueller, Slagh, VanWoerkom, Beson, Borton, Roth, Cavitt, Kuhn, Steele, Robinson, O'Neal, Rogers, Glanville, Edwards, Farhat, McKinney, Morgan, Price, Snyder and Longjohn. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. The Chair laid presentations from the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget before the committee. Caleb Buhs, Chief Deputy Director, Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget, gave a presentation on the Land Conveyance Process. Questions and discussion followed. Heather Frick, Agency Services Director, and Jared Amboiser, Chief Procurement Officer, both from the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget, gave a presentation on MiTN. Questions and discussion followed. Eric Swanson, Acting Chief Information Officer, and Jared Amboiser, Chief Procurement Officer, both from the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget, gave a presentation on a proposed Digital Services Office. Questions and discussion followed. The Chair laid presentations on IT best practices for states before the committee. Doug Robinson, the Executive Director for the Center for Digital Government, and Teri Tekai, the Executive Director for the National Association of Chief Information Officers, gave a presentation on IT best practices for states. Questions and discussion followed. Representative Maddock moved to excuse Representatives DeSana, Steckloff and Martus from the meeting.
