The Chair requested attendance to be called: Present: Reps. VanderWall, Thompson, Meerman, Tisdel, Bierlein, DeBoer, Prestin, Schmaltz, St. Germaine, Bohnak, Frisbie, Brenda Carter, Witwer, Neeley, Hoskins and Foreman. Absent: Rep. Whitsett. Excused: Rep. Whitsett. Representative DeBoer moved to adopt the meeting minutes from March 11, 2026. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4902, HB 4903 and HB 4904 before the committee: HB 4902 (Rep. VanderWall) A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled "Public health code," by repealing section 18109 (MCL 333.18109). HB 4903 (Rep. Meerman) A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled "Public health code," by amending section 18114 (MCL 333.18114), as added by 2019 PA 96. HB 4904 (Rep. DeBoer) A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled "Public health code," by amending section 18114 (MCL 333.18114), as added by 2019 PA 96; and to repeal acts and parts of acts.
