The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Young, Coffia, Glanville, Arbit, Edwards, MacDonell, Wozniak, Fox, Johnsen, Thompson. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Glanville moved to adopt the meeting minutes from June 18, 2024. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 5998 before the committee: HB 5998 (Rep. Young) A bill to amend 2001 PA 195, entitled "Uniform child-custody jurisdiction and enforcement act," by amending section 209 (MCL 722.1209). At 12:06 PM, the Chair laid the committee at ease.
