JOHN FITZGERALD CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, December 11, 2024 12:00 PM Room 519, House Office Building The House Committee on Local Government and Municipal Finance was called to order by Chair Fitzgerald. Paquette. Representative Shannon moved to adopt the meeting minutes from December 4, 2024. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4693 before the committee: HB 4693 (Rep. Fitzgerald) A bill to amend 1976 PA 267, entitled "Open meetings act," by amending section 3a (MCL 15.263a), as amended by 2021 PA 54. Hertel) A bill to amend 1909 PA 279, entitled "The home rule city act," (MCL 117.1 to 117.38) by adding section 5l. Danielle Burke, representing Senator Hertel, testified in support of SB 896. Ryan Zoschnick, representing Representative Hoadley, testified in support of HB 5820.
