FELICIA BRABEC CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Thursday, September 7, 2023 9:00 AM Room 519, House Office Building The House Health Policy Subcommittee on Behavioral Health was called to order by Chair Brabec. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Brabec, Pohutsky, Glanville, Edwards, MacDonell, Rheingans, Schmaltz, Hoadley, St. Germaine, Thompson. Absent: Rep. Arbit. Excused: Rep. Arbit. Representatives Glanville, MacDonell, St. Germaine and Thompson joined the committee remotely. Representative Pohutsky moved to adopt the meeting minutes from June 7, 2023. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. Chair Brabec laid before the committee an update on federal mental health activity. David Lloyd, representing The Kennedy Forum, and Angela Kimball, representing Inseparable, gave an update to the committee. Questions and discussion followed. Representative Schmaltz moved to excuse Representative Arbit from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent.
