- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON TRANSPORTATION REP. JACK O'MALLEY CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, February 2, 2021 10:30 AM Room 519, House Office Building The House Committee on Transportation was called to order by Chair O'Malley. The Clerk read a letter from House Speaker Jason Wentworth which appointed members of the Transportation Committee. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. O'Malley, Eisen, Howell, Griffin, LaFave, Berman, Carra, Roth, Sneller, Clemente, Shannon, Liberati, Puri. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Eisen moved to adopt Tuesday, at 10:30 a.m., in room 519 of the House Office Building, as the day, time, and location for the regularly scheduled meetings of the House Transportation Committee. The motion prevailed 13-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. O'Malley, Eisen, Howell, Griffin, LaFave, Berman, Carra, Roth, Sneller, Clemente, Shannon, Liberati, Puri. Nays: None. Pass: None. The Chair stated that the House Transportation Committee will follow Chapter IV, stated in the House Standing Rules, which were adopted on the House Floor. The Chair introduced himself and discussed his expectations for the committee. Chief Engineer and Chief Operating Officer Tony Kratofil, P.E., representing the Michigan Department of Transportation, provided a presentation regarding the Michigan Department of Transportation 101. Questions and discussion followed. There being no further business before the committee, Rep. Jack O'Malley adjourned the meeting at 11:25 AM.
