- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON INSURANCE REP. DAIRE RENDON CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Thursday, February 4, 2021 9:00 AM Room 352, House Appropriations, State Capitol Building The House Committee on Insurance was called to order by Chair Rendon. The Clerk read a letter from House Speaker Jason Wentworth which appointed members of the House Insurance Committee. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Rendon, Berman, Kahle, LaFave, Hall, Meerman, Bezotte, Clements, Posthumus, Tisdel, Brenda Carter, Anthony, Bolden, Coleman, Stone, Breen, Steenland. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative B. Carter moved to adopt Tuesday, at 9:00 a.m., in Room 519 of the House Office Building, as the day, time, and location for the regularly scheduled meetings of the House Transportation Committee. The motion prevailed 17-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Rendon, Berman, Kahle, LaFave, Hall, Meerman, Bezotte, Clements, Posthumus, Tisdel, Brenda Carter, Anthony, Bolden, Coleman, Stone, Breen, Steenland. Nays: None. Pass: None. Members of the House Insurance Committee introduced themselves. The Chair discussed her expectations for the House Insurance Committee in the 2021-2022 term. The Chair stated that the House Insurance Committee would follow Chapter IV, stated in the House Standing Rules, which were adopted on the House Floor.
