- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON NATURAL RESOURCES AND OUTDOOR RECREATION REP. GARY HOWELL CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Thursday, February 4, 2021 10:30 AM Room 307, House Office Building The House Committee on Natural Resources and Outdoor Recreation was called to order by Chair Howell. The Clerk read in a letter from House Speaker Wentworth appointing members to the House Natural Resources Committee. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Howell, Markkanen, LaFave, Wakeman, Carra, Sowerby, Cambensy, Aiyash. Absent: Rep. Marino. Excused: Rep. Marino. Rep. Markkanen moved to adopt Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Room 307 of the House Office Building as the normal day, time and location for meetings of the House Natural Resources Committee. The motion prevailed 8-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Howell, Markkanen, LaFave, Wakeman, Carra, Sowerby, Cambensy, Aiyash. Nays: None. Pass: None. The House Natural Resources Committee will follow Chapter IV, stated in the House Standing Rules, that were adopted on the House Floor Chair Howell made opening remarks. The Chair laid before the Committee a presentation by Liesl Eichler Clark, Director of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy. Questions and discussion followed. Rep. Wakeman moved to excuse Rep. Marino from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. There being no further business before the committee, Chair Howell adjourned the meeting at 11:27 AM.
