- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON FINANCIAL SERVICES REP. DIANA FARRINGTON CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, February 10, 2021 12:00 PM Room 327, House Office Building The House Committee on Financial Services was called to order by the Chair Farrington. The Clerk read the letter from Speaker of the House of Representatives, Jason Wentworth, appointing the following members to the Financial Services committee: Representatives Farrington (Chairman), Wakeman (Majority Vice Chairman), Griffin, Reilly, O'Malley, Carra, Clemente (Minority Vice Chairman), Camilleri, Rogers, Scott, Young. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Farrington, Wakeman, Griffin, Reilly, O'Malley, Carra, Clemente, Camilleri, Rogers, Scott, Young. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Wakeman moved to adopt the appointed meeting date, time and location of the regularly scheduled meetings: Wednesday, 12:00 p.m., room 327 of the House Office Building. The motion prevailed 11-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Farrington, Wakeman, Griffin, Reilly, O'Malley, Carra, Clemente, Camilleri, Rogers, Scott, Young. Nays: None. Pass: None. The Chair announced that the Financial Services committee will follow the Committee Rules, as prescribed in Chapter IV of the House Rules. Alex Morris and Patricia Herndon, representing the Michigan Bankers Association, gave an overview presentation to the committee. Questions and discussion followed. Patty Corkery, representing the Michigan Credit Union League, and Chrissy Siders, representing True Community Credit Union, gave an overview presentation to the committee. Questions and discussion followed. There being no further business before the committee, Rep. Diana Farrington adjourned the meeting at 12:57 PM.
